Welcome to City of Ivanhoe City of Ivanhoe… "The Storybook Town"
Ivanhoe is a small city l ocated in Southwest MN in Lincoln County. The city is named from the novel Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott. This is where we get our nickname "The Storybook Town". We are proud of our Polish Heritage. The 2020 census lists Ivanhoe as a community of 617. Ivanhoe has been the county seat since 1902.
The annual Polska Kielbasa Days "Polish Days" is held the second weekend in August. You will find polish sausage, authentic ethnic foods, softball, fireworks, parade and evening entertainment. This is a family friendly event which brings people from around the country home for the weekend.
